As of 2/15/2023, this project was not awarded. The Texas Military Department (TMD) is seeking bids from qualified vendors to provide a new gas line at Camp Mabry located at 2200 W. 35th Street, Austin, Texas 78703. The project includes but is not limited to providing a 4" natural gas line to feed the two (2) existing 200kW generators at Buildings 10 and 11. The contractor shall furnish and install gas piping from STA 1+00 to STA 20+00 and may use horizontal boring, horizontal directional drilling, open-cut trenching, hand digging, or a combination of the methods listed. The contractor is required to submit an implementation plan showing what installation method will be used. The approximate length of the gas line is 3,000 feet. The deadline to submit completed pre-qualification documents to the TMD Camp Mabry Gas Line group email is 4:00 PM CST, Thursday, November 17, 2022. The total estimated cost of this project is $600,000.00. All Bidders Must Be Pre-qualified to Bid on This Project (Prime & General Contractors Only).
