Contractor shall provide all necessary materials, supplies, tools, equipment, transportation, licenses, permits, insurance, and personnel to provide the Department of State Hospitals, Napa with Grease Trap Pumping and Hauling (interceptor waste disposal) Services. The term of any agreement resulting from this IFB is anticipated to be April 1, 2022, through March 31, 2025. Any agreement resulting from this IFB shall have no force or effect until it is signed by both parties and approved by the Department of General Services (DGS) if such approval is required. Performance shall start no later than on the expressed date set by the awarding agency and after all approvals have been obtained and the agreement is fully executed. This conference is OPTIONAL. Bidders will not be penalized for not attending the conference. Bidders who wish to attend the conference must notify Talia Yates and Stacy Hiers via e-mail at Talia.Yates@dsh.ca.gov and Stacy.Hiers@dsh.ca.gov by 5:00 p.m. on January 11, 2022. This notification must include the first and last name of the proposed attendee, as well as driver's license number and birthdate. Bidders shall notify DSH immediately via e-mail at Talia.Yates@dsh.ca.gov and Stacy.Hiers@dsh.ca.gov if they need clarification about the services being sought or have questions about the IFB instructions or requirements. The level of detail that shall be provided in response is subject to the availability of DSH resources Contractor shall obtain and maintain a performance bond of not less than the contract price of this Agreement, which shall be executed by a California-admitted surety insurer. Bonds not so executed shall be rejected. Contractor shall submit two (2) executed copies on standard bonding company forms. Contractor shall provide DSH with a payment bond of not less than the contract price of this Agreement. The bond shall cover the costs of labor and materials provided by Contractor's employees, subcontractors, and suppliers in the event that Contractor fails to pay the costs of labor and materials to those individuals or entities. In order to meet this requirement, Contractor shall submit two (2) executed copies of the Payment Bond Form (STD 807). Insurance shall be in effect for the entire term of this Agreement. If the insurance expires prior to the end of the term of the Agreement, a new certificate must be received by DSH at least ten (10) days prior to the expiration of the insurance. . Bidders shall notify DSH immediately via e-mail at Talia.Yates@dsh.ca.gov and Stacy.Hiers@dsh.ca.gov if they need clarification about the services being sought or have questions about the IFB instructions or requirements. The level of detail that shall be provided in response is subject to the availability of DSH resources. DSH shall respond to all questions via an addendum to the solicitation with all questions and answers posted on electronically. Deadline for Submission of Questions 1/19/2022 2:00PM DSH reserves the right to reject all bids. DSH is not required to award an agreement.
