General Scope of Work - Phase One 2022: - Mechanical upgrades to thirteen (13) classrooms. - Upgrade interior lighting to LED in classrooms, corridors and Senior Gymnasium - Refresh two (2) sets of Girls' and Boys' Washrooms - Exterior brick demolition and metal cladding install - Repair spalling brick in select locations - Upgrades to interior doors, exterior doors, and windows - Painting in various areas - New door lockset replacement throughout school - Roof replacement - Hazardous materials abatement within work areas - Some portion of the above noted scope to commence while the school is occupied General Scope of Work - Phase Two 2023: - Rear asphalt tarmac resurfacing - Catch basin replacement - Exterior brick demolition and metal cladding install - Upgrades to exterior doors and windows - Millwork replacement - New primary service and electrical upgrades - Sewer and water service upgrades - Hazardous materials abatement within work areas Further details regarding the Scope of Work will be provided during the Site Meeting. Completed site-specific drawings will be provided to the successful Proponent following award of this Contract. Phase One (2022) - Construction is expected to commence on or around June 1, 2022, or as otherwise directed by the Board. The project shall achieve substantial completion prior to September 3, 2022, unless otherwise approved by the Bluewater District School Board. Phase Two (2023) - Construction is expected to commence on or around June 30, 2023, or as otherwise directed by the Board. The project shall achieve substantial completion prior to August 26, 2023, unless otherwise approved by the Bluewater District School Board. It is the expectation of the Board that the successful Construction Management Firm will mobilize as necessary to meet and/or maintain the project schedule The estimated construction value for each phase of this project is as follows.
