General Scope of Work - Phase One 2022: - Mechanical upgrades to one (1) classroom, two (2) seminar rooms, two (2) offices, childcare, and gymnasium - Upgrade interior lighting to LED in various rooms, corridors, and gymnasium. - Installation of ceilings in various rooms and corridors - Painting in various areas - Install new flooring in various area's including sports floor in gymnasium - Replace coat racks - Upgrades to interior doors, exterior doors, and windows - New door lockset replacement throughout school - Type 3 asbestos abatement in ten (10) classrooms and associated corridors - Hazardous materials abatement within work areas General Scope of Work - Phase Two 2023: - Parking lot revisions and garbage enclosure - Exterior brick replacement - Mechanical upgrades to ten (10) classrooms - Upgrade interior lighting to LED in classrooms and corridors - Installation of ceilings in corridors - Refresh two (2) sets of Girls and Boys Washrooms - Painting in various areas - Install new flooring in corridors and classrooms - New IT room - Upgrades to interior doors - Hazardous materials abatement within work areas Phase One (2022) - Construction is expected to commence on or around June 30, 2022, or as otherwise directed by the Board. The project shall achieve substantial completion prior to September 3, 2022, unless otherwise approved by the Bluewater District School Board. Phase Two (2023) - Construction is expected to commence on or around June 30, 2023, or as otherwise directed by the Board. The project shall achieve substantial completion prior to August 26, 2023, unless otherwise approved by the Bluewater District School Board. It is the expectation of the Board that the successful Construction Management Firm will mobilize as necessary to meet and/or maintain the project schedule. The estimated construction value for each phase of this project is as follows.
