Notice Text Village Center Community Development District Invitation to Bid ITB #22B-008 The District is requesting bids from qualified firms for the Fuel Facility Safety & Security Improvements. Bid packages may be obtained from www.districtgov.org or www.demandstar.com. A MANDATORY pre-bid, onsite conference for all interested vendors will be held on January 13, 2022 at 9:00am in the parking lot of the VCCDD Fuel Site, 8560 NE 44th Drive, Wildwood, FL 34785. Sealed or electronic bids must be received by 3:00pm on February 3, 2022 at the Purchasing Dept located at 1071 Canal St, The Villages, FL 32162. The bid opening will be held via teleconference at 3:15pm on February 3, 2022. It is the intent of these specifications to describe a complete project fully acceptable to the District. Even though certain details may have been unintentionally omitted, the Contractor shall nonetheless perform all work necessary to complete the project to the highest industry standards and acceptable to the District. This is a turn-key project and responsibility of the Contractor to provide a completed project. 4 o Permits will be provided by contractor o Fence to be relocated (see Exhibit 1) per plan o Two 24" Cantilever Gates with L3 Viking openers o Removing and replacing chain link fence as shown on Exhibit 1. Existing post being removed to be cut at ground level and filled with concrete. o Install (3) 208V circuits for (3) new gate operators and (1) 120V control circuit to new data control cabinet from existing panel in gate house. Dig ditch in soil along south side and add (2) ground junction boxes to terminate bores. Connections to be made with weatherproof connectors. Terminate 120V circuit in new control cabinet to be supplied by others. Pull new circuits through bores and terminate (3) new gate controllers/openers. Pull 120V circuit to new card reader stand and terminate. Install 1Dual Pedestal Aluminum Reader Stand with 4" square at 75" and 55" with 12" base that can accept an LED light at the top by contractor (reader and LED light will be provided by owner) o Cut and remove concrete at (3) locations as necessary for directional bore. Replace concrete after directional bores complete. Concrete patch includes a single mat of rebar tied into rebar doweled into adjacent concrete with epoxy. o Coordinate with VCDD District Property Management on scheduling work due to the Fuel Site being operational. o Contractor will be responsible for all boring and concrete work involved with running conduit to the gate operators and HID card reader for electrical and network technology. o Contractor will work in conjunction with The Villages Technical Solutions Groups for install of network technology and Royce Integrated Solutions with HID card reader/pedestal. o All materials and workmanship shall be first class and shall conform to the highest industry standards or the specifications, whichever requirements are more stringent
