All bid proposals are to be made on the forms provided and will be made a part of the contract documents to be executed with the City. Bid proposals are to be received in sealed 9" or 12" or 10" X 13" envelope. The envelope shall be marked: "Sealed Bid-Headworks Gate Improvements Project", and the name of the Bidder. Scope of work shall include, but is not limited to, the furnishing and installation of new stainless steel slide gate and electric actuator, new stainless steel weir gate, new hatches and grating, spray protective lining for the concrete headworks structure, and bypass pumping. Without force and effect on requirements of contract documents, the City of West Chicago is seeking professional contractual services to perform all work and to provide and/or furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, machinery, utility and transportation, services, and all other incidentals necessary to complete in a workmanlike manner all work required for the Headworks Gate Improvements Project. Scope of work shall include, but is not limited to, the furnishing and installation of new stainless steel slide gate and electric actuator, new stainless steel weir gate, new hatches and grating, spray protective lining for the concrete headworks structure, and bypass pumping, in accordance with the plans, specifications and general notes as prepared by Clark Dietz, Inc., latest revisions dated January 2022, as attached hereto and as specified in Section III - Technical Specifications of the bid package, and all in strict accordance with the specifications and other contract documents as prepared by the City of West Chicago, dated January 2022.
