Project Number: 11819 Sealed bids will be received for the General Construction Contract. The probable contract cost for the base bid construction contract is $ 440,000. Bids shall include all labor, materials, equipment, special tools, and services required to complete the work in accordance with the contract documents. Each proposal shall contain the name of every person interested therein. Each proposal shall meet the regulations of Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the form of either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of the bid (including add alternates) or a certified check, cashier's check, or an irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the bid amount (including add alternates), in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder who, as a Bid Guaranty, submits a certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the bid, shall furnish a Contract Bond in the form Contract Bond included in the Bid Documents in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Sum. The undersigned further agrees that if any, or all, of said bids be accepted they will enter into a contract within thirty (30) days for faithful performance of labor and furnishing of materials, and will furnish a good and sufficient bond in an amount equal to 100 per cent of the contract price for the performance of such contract as required by law. No bids may be withdrawn within thirty (30) days after the bid opening. The Clinton-Massie Local Schools, Board of Education reserves the right to waive irregularities in bids, to reject any or all bids, and to conduct such review as necessary to determine the responsibility of any bidder submitting a bid for the Project.
