SAWING EXISTING PAVEMENT A. All asphalt or concrete pavement to be removed shall be saw cut in accordance with Section 690 of the "State Specifications" except as modified herein. 1. Allsaw cuts and pavement removal limitsshall be field located by the Engineer. 2. Concrete drivewaysshall be saw cut at the nearest construction joint if lessthan a 4-footsection remains. B. The cost associated with the item ofsawing pavementshall be incidental to the contract and shall be included in the variousitems of work. REMOVING PAVEMENT A. Removing Pavementshall be completed in accordance with Section 204 of the "State Specifications". B. The unit contract price for removing pavementshall be payment in full for removing and disposing of all material; for preparing the underlying surface; and for furnishing all labor, tools, equipment and incidentals necessary to complete the work required. C. Paymentshall be made under the item: Removing Pavement (Driveway), per square yard GRADE / RESHAPE DITCHES A. The Contractorshall grade / reshape ditchesto the line and gradesshown on the plans or as directed by the Engineer. 1. All excess material from the grade / reshape ditches item shall become property of the Contractor and removed from the site. B. Paymentshall be made under the item: Grade / Reshape Ditches, per linear foot PULVERIZE AND RELAY PAVEMENT A. This work shall consist of constructing base course for roadways and shoulders utilizing inplace pulverizing of the existing asphalt pavement and shall be in accordance with Section 325 of the "State Specifications" except as modified herein.
