The Atlantic City Expressway 2022 Spring Resurfacing Project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials and performing all work required to resurface the Eastbound Atlantic City Expressway including both shoulders and resurfacing to the existing concrete median barrier and steel beam guide rail. The areas to be resurfaced for the three (3) base bids are as follows: Base Bid 1: Eastbound Atlantic City Expressway Resurfacing from Milepost 29.0 to Milepost 25.6 and Interchange 28 Eastbound On-Ramp from Route 54 Northbound Eastbound Atlantic City Expressway Resurfacing from Milepost 10.6 to Mile post 9.0 Base Bid 2: Eastbound Atlantic City Expressway Resurfacing from Milepost 29.0 to Milepost 25.6 and Interchange 28 Eastbound On-Ramp from Route 54 Northbound Eastbound Atlantic City Expressway Resurfacing from Milepost 11.1 to Milepost 9.0 Base Bid 3: Eastbound Atlantic City Expressway Resurfacing from Milepost 29.0 to Milepost 25.6 and Interchange 28 Eastbound On-Ramp from Route 54 Northbound Eastbound Atlantic City Expressway Resurfacing from Milepost 11.4 to Milepost 9.0 Bids must be made on the Bid Form contained in the contract documents in the manner designated therein and required by the specifications. Bids must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidder on the outside and also bearing on the outside reference to the particular work bid upon. Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the TOTAL BID PRICE, but not to exceed $20,000.00, is required to accompany all bid submissions. The Contractor agrees to make a good faith effort to award at least 25% of this contract to subcontractors registered by the Division of Revenue as a SBE. Subcontracting goals are not applicable if the prime contractor is a registered Small Business Enterprise (SBE) firm The Authority, in accordance with law, reserves the right, according to law, to reject any or all bids either in whole or in part and also to waive any minor informality in any bid or bids so received.
