he project involves removal of an existing concrete bridge, installation of a temporary bridge structure, paving, guiderail, and installation of a new aluminum box culvert, single span bridge. A certified check or bid bond payable to or naming as oblige the Borough of Brookville in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid must be deposited with proposal as a guarantee that in case the contract is awarded the successful bidder will execute the contract and furnish all bonds as may be required. The Borough of Brookville reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive any informality or bidding irregularities, and to award the contract as may be deemed by the Supervisors to be in their best interest. No bidder may withdraw his or her bid within ninety (90) days after the actual opening thereof. The contract duration will be 120-days. It is anticipated that notice-to-proceed will be issued on or about April 8, 2024 with a late finish of August 6, 2024.
