Site work for a civil project in Thomaston, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of August 12, 2022, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. The work includes but is not limited to improvements to the concrete dam with upstream earth embankment, spillway, and associated earthen dike. All Bidders shall furnish with their Bid a bid deposit in the form of a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the maximum total amount of the Bid and made payable to the Town of Thomaston, Connecticut. Performance and Payment Bonds, in the full amount of the Contract price, will be required of the Successful Bidder. The time period for holding Bids, is 45 days, Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays excluded, after opening of Bids. Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids, or to accept any Bid which in their opinion, is in the public interest to do so. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time. Interested subcontractors should contact the general contractor directly for more information.
