Question Deadline 01/18/2022 03:00:00 PM It is agreed by the parties to the contract that in case all the work called for under the contract is not completed within the number of working days or by the completion date in completion date contracts, as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders, Special Provisions or as extended in accordance with Section GC3.06 of the General Conditions, a loss or damage will be sustained by the Corporation. Since it is and will be impracticable and extremely difficult to ascertain and determine the actual loss or damage which the Corporation will suffer in the event of and by reason of such delay, the parties hereto agree that the Contractor will pay to the Corporation the sum of Seven Hundred Fifty ($750.00) dollars as liquidated damages for each and every calendar days delay in finishing the work in excess of the contract completion date as prescribed. It is agreed that this amount is an estimate of the actual loss or damage to the Corporation, which will accrue during the period in excess of the prescribed number of working days.
