Sealed bids will be solicited jointly by the public bodies listed above for the following approximate quantities of pre-mixed bituminous concrete materials, FOB Plant: Pre-Mixed Bituminous Stock Pike Material, Bituminous Concrete Base Course (BCBC), ID3 Surface Course, 9.5 MM & 19 MM Superpave Surface Course and 25 MM Superpave Base Course; FOB Job: Bituminous Concrete Base Course (BCBC), and 9.5 MM & 19 MM Superpave Surface Course and 25 MM Superpave Base Course; all in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation specifications. Cash, certified check, or bid bond drawn to the order of the Borough of Hanover shall accompany each proposal in an amount of not less than ten (10%) percent of the total bid price with same being tendered in good faith as bid security. Each municipality intends to award at their next publicly advertised Council or Township meeting following the bid opening. The public bodies reserve the right to reject any or all bids, or to award the contract individually for each alternate, or may award the contract for a combined bid on both alternates as listed on the bidding blank.
