Site work and paving for a road / highway in Waterford Township, Michigan. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This Road project includes the design of approximately 3.5 miles of roadway improvements through Bridgeport and Buena Vista Townships. Dixie Hwy is a five lane Major collector carrying approximately 7000 vehicles per day. The project shall be designed according to 3R/4R standards and in accordance with a typical MDOT Federal-Aid project. The Saginaw County Road Commission, through its MPO has allotted a construction budget of $1,300,000 for the road project. The design shall follow a critical path to meet a proposed letting date no later than December 2022. The estimated start of construction likely be May 2023. All questions regarding this RFP shall be submitted in writing to Dan Armentrout via email. The last day for written questions to be submitted to the SCRC will be February 11, 2022. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
