Sealed bids are requested for the roof replacement at Schwarzkoff Elementary School of Utica Community Schools. The proposal will contain the base bid for Schwarzkoff Elementary roof replacement. Project Requirements: Contractors eligible to be awarded these projects shall be firms with not less than 5 years of successful experience in installation of roofing systems similar to those required for this project and which are acceptable to or licensed by the manufacturer of primary roofing materials Installer Certification: Obtain written certification from manufacturer of roofing system certifying that Installer is approved by manufacturer for installation of specified roofing system. The certification shall be submitted with the bid PROPOSAL ACCEPTANCE Bids may be withdrawn up to the time and date of bid opening. After bid opening, bids may not be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days thereafter. TENDERS The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularity or informality in bids, to reject any/or all bids (in whole or in part), or to award any Contract to other than the low bidder, should it be deemed in its best interest to do so. REQUIRED ATTACHMENTS TO BID 1) FAMILIAL RELATIONSHIP DISCLOSURE STATEMENT All bids shall be accompanied by a sworn statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the owner(s) or any employee of the bidder and any member of the Board of Education of the School District or the Superintendent of the School District. 2) AFFIDAVIT OF COMPLIANCE - IRAN ECONOMIC SANCTIONS ACT Michigan Public Act No. 517 of 2012 All bids shall be accompanied by the above Affidavit of Compliance filled out in its entirety. The Board of Education shall not accept a bid that does not include the above two sworn and notarized attachments.
