The work includes furnishing all labor, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, and services required for construction of the above project; consisting, but not limited to the following items of work: Mobilization, bonds and insurance, traffic control, UDOT encroachment permit, removal and replacement of roadway surface improvements, installation of 24" diameter and 10" diameter PVC, C-900, DR-18 waterline piping, valves and fittings, waterline connections onto existing waterlines for both the 24" diameter and 10" diameter piping, constructing a concrete vault for a prv station complete with piping, valves, meter, prv valve & equipment, electrical controls, power connection, all appurtenant work in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications prepared by the Engineer, CEC, Civil Engineering Consultants, PLLC. ESTIMATE: The Engineer's Estimate of Cost for the project is: (Contractor Must Bid on both Schedules) Schedule A: $ 259,000 Schedule B: $ 225,500 Questions in regards to the proposed project shall be directed to the Engineer, noted above. No drawing, specifications, product substitution and/or interpretations will be made unless noted with "Addendum". All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, Certified Check or Cashier's Check in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid price, drawn payable to the order of Owner noted herein. All Bids submitted shall be in conformance with the Instructions to Bidders and shall be guaranteed by the Bidder for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of Bid Opening. Liquidated damages or project delay charges will be issued for work not completed on time per the contract documents. All proposed piping work on Schedule B shall be completed by March 31, 2022. All remaining work for Schedule A and Schedule B, as contained in the contract documents, shall be completed by June 17, 2022. The Owner hereby reserves the right to reject any or all bids presented, to waive any informality in a bid, and to make award or refuse in the interest of the Owner. Work of the Project consists of the following as shown on the drawings and contained in the specifications. a. Provide and maintain erosion control BMPs including final stabilization. 2. Perform work of the contract per the General Conditions and Supplementary Conditions. The performance bond and the labor and materials payment bond shall be a minimum of a 100 percent of the proposed The scope of the project has been defined in general terms and conditions in the Advertisement for Bids. A short synopsis of the proposed work, labor required, and materials proposed has been briefly indicated in the Advertisement for Bids and contained in document 00110 General Requirements - Summary. The proposed bidder must fully investigate the contract documents, and drawings, and make investigation at the site in order to fully understand the proposed project.
