SaskTel is seeking qualified Suppliers to submit proposals for the provision of DC Power Plant Installation and Commissioning Services, The ideal suppliers will be established and reputable contractors with experience in the installation of small and large stand-by battery plants and rectifier systems. SaskTel is seeking to establish a list of four (4) Qualified Contractors to provide the services on a demand basis. As work is on a demand basis, SaskTel makes no guarantee of the amount of work that will be available, nor how the work will be distributed. The Deliverables may include, but are not limited to: Installation and commissioning of DC Power Rectifier Systems (-48 volt) consisting of small and large Rectifier plants. The design, fabrication, and installation of small and large bus bar and distribution systems. Installation and commissioning of -48 volt battery systems, consisting of various sizes of lead acid flooded, valve regulated batteries. Installation and commissioning of -48 volt battery systems consisting of various sizes of Lithium-Ion batteries. Delivery of rectifier and battery systems to urban, rural and remote sites for SaskTel to install. Pick up and disposal of lead acid flooded, valve regulated, and lithium ion batteries from SaskTel sites in accordance with transportation and disposal of dangerous goods regulations. This procurement is covered by Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CaFTA) and Chapter 19 of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) between Canada and the European Union.
