Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Fort Plain, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility.
The Town of Palatine will award Multiple Prime Contracts as follows: CONTRACT NUMBER AND TYPE 1. Contract 01 - General Construction 2. Contract 02 - Electrical The work includes, but is not limited to, the construction of a new salt storage shed on the site of the existing town highway garage, including associated site work and electrical improvements.. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in the amount equal to 100% of the contract price. The Town of Palatine is an equal opportunity employer. The successful bidder must be an equal opportunity employer, must meet all appropriate State and federal standards, and comply with all rules and regulations as they pertain to the Water Quality Improvements Program (WQIP) Grant. The Grant establishes a M/WBE Participation goal of 30%. The Project shall be completed within 180 days calendar days after the date when the contract time commences to run. The Town of Palatine reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bids received, or to reject any or all Bids without explanation.
