Turbotville Borough will receive sealed bids online via PennBid for the Turbotville Playground Improvement Project All Bidders must submit bid security in the amount of 100% of the contract value. Requests for clarification are due Friday, January 28, 2022 4:00:00 PM [(UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)]. The major items of work to be performed by the Contractor for the Turbotville Playground Project in the Turbotville Borough, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania for Turbotville Borough (OWNER) are included on the Construction Quantity Estimate and are shown on the Construction Improvement Plans. These major work items include the following: A. Playground Excavation & Drainage B. Playground Facilities Relocation & Installation C. Greenspace Modifications & Additions D. Hardscape Modifications & Additions Projects which disturb 5,000 square feet or more of land, but not equal to or greater than 1 acre are required to develop a written plan, then implement and maintain the erosion controls on the site. Examination of Site It is the sole responsibility of the Contractor, before submitting a proposal, to visually inspect the site to become familiar with site conditions that may affect cost, progress, and performance of furnishing of the work. The Contractor is required to obtain approval from OWNER prior to entering private property to perform any on-site investigations
