The Floyd County Board of Commissioners will be accepting sealed bids for the Installation of Bonded Rubber Mulch at Midway and Shag Williams Parks in Rome GA The County reserves the right to waive compliance by any applicant with any provision contained in this request whenever the County in its sole discretion believes such waiver is in the County's best interests Provide all materials and install approximately 2800 square feet of Bonded Rubber Mulch with elevation tiles for a minimum of 7 feet of fall protection. Provide and install approximately 2800 feet of 4" compacted 57 stone base as required for providing a stable base for Bonded Rubber Mulch Installation. --- The contractor must provide all labor, tools, equipment and materials necessary to install the Bonded Rubber Mulch and it must be included in the cost provided on the bid sheet. Installation must be per manufacturer's specifications. The installer must state the brand name of mulch to be provided and quantities to be installed. Bonded Rubber Mulch should be installed to a depth that would achieve the 7 feet of fall protection. Contractor should state the depth of much to be provided and the approximate cu yds. Rome/Floyd Parks and Recreation will remove and dispose of all existing mulch and prep the worksite for installation of the base and mulch. The contractor must provide written requirements for the preparation of the work site in advance of scheduling installation. All warranties should be stated/or provided including any contractor and materials warranty.
