Section I - Park Avenue Pavement Replacement (Champaign Rd. to Angelique Ave.) o Remove approx. 1,750 square feet of existing walk; o Remove approx. 4,500 square yards of existing pavement; o Remove approx. 110 feet of existing storm pipes; o Remove approx. (5) storm structures; o Construct approx. 1,500 square feet of 4 inch non-reinforced concrete walk, MDOT Grade S2, 4,000psi on 4 inch sand Base; o Construct approx. 350 square yards of 6 inch non-reinforced concrete pavement, MDOT Grade P1, on new 6 inch MDOT 21AA Crushed Limestone Base; o Construct approx. 4,250 square yards of 8 inch non-reinforced concrete pavement w/integral straight curb, MDOT Grade P1, on new 6 inch MDOT 21AA Crushed Limestone Base. Paving Machine is required, a Vibratory Screed is Not Allowed; o Install approx. 1,750 feet of 6 inch storm underdrain; o Install approx. 200 feet of RCP CLIV, C76 storm pipes, 12 inch dia.; o Construct (10) storm structures; o Install (12) Inlet Filter; o All other related work; Section II - Rosedale Avenue Pavement Replacement (Wick Rd. to Moore Ave.) o Remove approx. 4,800 square feet of existing walk; o Remove approx. 7,850 square yards of existing pavement; o Remove approx. 50 feet of existing storm pipes; o Remove approx. (2) storm structures; o Construct approx. 4,600 square feet of 4 inch non-reinforced concrete walk, MDOT Grade S2, 4,000psi on 4 inch sand Base; o Construct approx. 1,000 square yards of 6 inch non-reinforced concrete pavement, MDOT Grade P1, on new 6 inch MDOT 21AA Crushed Limestone Base; o Construct approx. 7,000 square yards of 8 inch non-reinforced concrete pavement w/integral straight curb, MDOT Grade P1, on new 6 inch MDOT 21AA Crushed Limestone Base. (4) storm structures; o Construct approx. 1,750 square feet of 4 inch non-reinforced concrete walk, MDOT Grade S2, 4,000psi on 4 inch sand Base; o Construct approx. 600 square yards of 6 inch non-reinforced concrete pavement, MDOT Grade P1, on new 6 inch MDOT 21AA Crushed Limestone Base; o Construct approx. 3,350 square yards of 8 inch non-reinforced concrete pavement w/integral straight curb, MDOT Grade P1, on new 6 inch MDOT 21AA Crushed Limestone Base. Paving Machine is required, a Vibratory Screed is Not Allowed; o Install approx. 1,750 feet of 6 inch storm underdrain; o Install approx. 250 feet of RCP CLIV, C76 storm pipes, 12 inch dia.; o Construct (5) storm structures; o Install (8) Inlet Filter; o All other related work; All bids shall remain firm and may not be withdrawn for ninety (90) days after the actual date of opening thereof. A properly completed Bid Bond, Certified Check or Cashier's Check in a sum not less than five (5) percent of the proposed amount of the proposal submitted, shall accompany each proposal as security for acceptance of the Contract by the lowest qualified bidder. Should the Contractor fail to enter into a Contract agreement with the Owner, through no fault of the Owner, he shall forfeit the entire amount of the security to the Owner. The City of Allen Park does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. The City of Allen Park reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, waive any irregularity in any proposal, and make an award of Contract in any manner, deemed in its best interest. Proposals submitted after the exact time specified for receipt shall not be considered. ENGINEER shall transmit to all such Bidders of record such addenda as ENGINEER considers necessary to provide clarification, in response to questions arising therein, or arising subsequent.
