As of 4/29/2022, this project has not yet been awarded. Additional details will be made available following the May 2022 Board Award meeting. Rehabilitation and painting of the 0.75 Million-Gallon Amhurst Elevated Storage Tank Rehabilitation. The project includes, but is not limited to, surface preparation and coating application on the exterior and interior surfaces and piping and valves, installation of an electromagnetic flow meter and precast meter vault, replacement of below grade piping and valves in the existing valve vault including the installation of a solenoid control valve, replacement of roof hatch, vent, and guardrail, modifications to overflow weir, overflow piping and exterior and interior ladders, installation of top platform, replacement of cathodic protection system, wet riser access manhole expansion, electrical and instrumentation improvements, removal and construction of new fencing, sidewalk paving, site grading and miscellaneous demolition and construction. Be advised that firms responding to this RFCSP (Respondents) are prohibited from communicating with any other SAWS staff, the Consultant, the Developer, or COSA officials regarding this RFCSP up until the contract is awarded as outlined in the Instructions to Respondents. Electronic proposals shall be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total proposal price. (Or, if providing SAWS with a cashier's check or certified check in an amount not less than five percent of the total proposal price, SAWS will request this within 24 hours from the Respondent who did not submit a bid bond) Respondents will need to submit a request by February 10, 2022 at 2:00 PM (CDT) to receive access to the File transfer Protocol (FTP) site via email to Stella.Manzello@saws.org.
