Demolition, site work and addition to a mixed-use development in Livermore, California. Completed plans call for the addition of a fire / police facility; and for the demolition of a municipal facility.
As of June, 2023, construction has been completed. Construction commenced in March, 2023. Project Information. 3.1. Location and Description. The Project is located at 3575 Pacific Avenue and is described as follows: Demolition and removal of building including contents, mechanical systems and hazardous materials removal and mitigation, fence construction. 3.2. Time for Completion. The planned timeframe for Substantial Completion of construction of the Project is 25 Working Days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. Final Completion of the Project is planned to be 5 Working Days after the date of Substantial Completion. 4. Construction Cost. The Engineer's estimated construction cost is: $104,000. 5. License and Registration Requirements. 5.1. License. At the time of bid opening and for the duration of the Project, Contractor shall possess a valid California contractor's license for the following classification(s): Class A (General Engineering), or Class C-21 (Demolition). (See also, Instructions for Bidders, Section 4, Licenses and DIR Registration.) A bid submitted by a bidder that does not possess any of these licenses at bid opening may render the bid non-responsive, barring award of the Contract to that bidder. 6. Additional Certifications. In addition, any entity (whether Contractor, sub- contractor or both) involved in the handling of lead and asbestos shall possess a valid lead and asbestos certification at the time the bid opening and for the duration of the Project (See also, Instructions for Bidders, Section 4, Licenses and DIR Registration.)
