Renovation of an educational facility in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
ECSU has a need to engage a team to assist in the design, procurement and installation of new lighting and associated wiring for the Roebuck stadium. Due to the recent inclement weather the existing light poles are leaning, causing electrical outages within the facility. The budget for the project is $1,200,000 and shall incorporate design fees, procurement of light poles heads and lamps, construction for the replacement of underground wiring, installation and all associated reimbursable expenses the project has full funding authority. Project is expected to be completed August 1, 2022 The selected firm will work ECSU or it's designated representative during design and Construction. The process will include normal involvement of the State Construction Office. Following the receipt of proposals, a University Interview Committee will shortlist, interview and make a recommendation of selection to the University Board of Trustees' Buildings and Property Committee. All Questions must be submitted electronically in writing at designandconstruction@ecsu.edu by 5:00pm January 17th 2022 and will be answered in writing by January 24th, 2022 The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time
