Questions will be accepted, and answers posted, only if they are submitted in writing five working days prior to the bid closing date The work within this Request for Proposals supports the City of Vancouver's ongoing effort to develop seismic risk reduction policy for its 90,000 existing, privately held buildings, in partnership with the Province of British Columbia. Specifically, this request for proposals seeks local engineering expertise to complete a series analysis tasks aimed at understanding some of the key technical elements, described below, and their cost-barrier implications to support seismic risk reduction target setting and policy option development. The method of contractor selection has not determined at this time.
