The scope of work, in general terms, involves the replacement of traffic signals and associated hardware at 8 intersections along Highway 17 and Highway 594 through the City of Dryden, along with the implementation of AODA compliant curb ramps and pedestrian pushbuttons. Work will include but not limited to: - Mobilization and Demobilization - Place and maintain Traffic Control signage - Establish traffic/pedestrian control and environmental protection. - Removal of Existing Electrical Equipment and overhead sign gantries - Installation of temporary cabling to maintain existing systems in operation - Installation of new traffic equipment (controller cabinets, pole, mast arms, signal head, accessible pedestrian signals, and non-intrusive detection system) - Installation of new lighting poles - Installation of all new wiring in existing ducts and installation of new ducts and wiring - Remove concrete curb and gutter and concrete sidewalk and install new curb and gutter, curb ramps, tactile walking surface indicators and sidewalk as indicated. - Adjust and rebuild manholes elevations - Remove and re-install existing permanent signage to accommodate work where required. - Reconstruct all surface features disturbed during construction, including installation of topsoil and sod. - All work as indicated on the Drawing and Specifications The description of the Work stated above is not, nor is it intended to be, a complete and all- inclusive "Description of Work".
