The facilities that make up the CISSS de Chaudiere-Appalaches offer the population general and specialized services corresponding to the five (5) major missions defined by the Act respecting health services and social services (CQLR, chapter S-4.2) according to which 'they operate a: Local community service center (CLSC); Hospital; Residential and long-term care center (CHSLD); Child and Youth Protection Center (CPEJ); Rehabilitation center (CR). An installation can take on more than one mission. In summary, the region has, among others, 4 hospitals, 26 CLSCs, 29 CHSLDs and nearly 12,000 employees, in an area of 15,000 square kilometers. Object The CISSS de Chaudiere-Appalaches is currently initiating preparatory work for a service offering for the supply, delivery and installation of new main and secondary exterior signs for its owner and tenant buildings in Chaudiere-Appalaches. The project includes the conversion of illuminated signs to LED, occasional repairs, and the removal and disposal of existing signs. This call for interest does not constitute a call for tenders under a competitive regime, but rather a request for information so as to allow the CISSS de Chaudiere-Appalaches to know the materials and systems currently available and thus complete the development of its estimate which may lead to a call to the market according to the Law on contracting by public bodies (LCOP) and its regulations. In context The aim of this call for interest is to identify existing solutions on the market. In order to accomplish its mission, the CISSS de Chaudiere-Appalaches wishes to update the visual and wording of the majority of the main and secondary exterior signs of these sites. For some sites, the addition of new directional signs will have to be done. For other brands, the refurbishment of the boxes will have to be done. In addition, with regard to illuminated signs, a conversion to LED will have to be made in order to make them energy efficient. Procedures The CISSS de Chaudiere-Appalaches briefly assessed the work to be done at each of its sites. The need for information concerns the type of new equipment on the market and the quantity to be used in proportion to the area of the sign.
