The County is looking for a vendor that can provide and install two commercial pool heaters that meet or exceed listed specifications, efficiency, and maintenance requirements of the XTherm Ultra H igh Efficiency Commercial Pool Heater, Model P4005A, to provide adequate heat for the Deseret Peak seasonal swimming pool using Natural Gas as the sole source and must include the following
Removal and proper disposal of existing (2) 5,000,000 BTU heater.
-Inspection of the heater to be removed and location for placement of new units may be made prior to submission of bids by contacting Mark McKendrick, Tooele County Facilities, Tooele, Utah, (435) 843-4001. Installation of the heater units, including but not limited to the following specifications:
Exhaust Venting
4,000,000 BTUH each
97% thermal efficiency at full fire in pool applications.
Minimum continuous inlet water temperature maintained at 115 degrees using cold water run
AB 1953 low lead certified.
On-board diagnostic center, real English no codes.
All models indoor/outdoor construction.
Complete cabinet protects all controls and wiring.
Low Nox - Less than 20ppm.
Suitable for altitudes up to 10,000 ft., installed to function optimally at 4300 ft.
Equipped with all cupro-nickel copper bronze and stainless steel waterways.
Installed per manufacturer recommendations, including but not limited to considerations of:
-Facility configuration.
-Facility infrastructure.
-Maintaining manufacturer's efficiency rating.
-Turn key hookup to gas, water, electrical, and ventilation systems.
-Neutralization of acidic condensation.
