Fiberglass is extremely difficult to repair so repairing broken parts and pieces is expensive in both time and materials. Newer orchestra shell products produce better results, utilizing more dense materials, store more compactly, and possibly a shortened wall solution could be implemented that would eliminate the need for the $117,000 proposed project to enlarge the doors to the dock. This project is included in the city's 2022-2026 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP).
