Renovation of a detention facility in Allouez, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Section includes cast-in-place concrete, including formwork, reinforcement, concrete materials, mixture design, placement procedures, and finishes. The work under this section consists of providing all work, materials, labor equipment and supervision necessary to provide cast in-place concrete as required in these specifications and the drawings. Demolition of existing boiler controls on 4 boilers and balance of plant controls. Installation of new PLC based controls on 4 boilers as well as new balance of plant controls This work also includes the installation of a new Operators Control Room and storage area. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin's prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. Owner will engage a qualified independent testing agency to sample paint material being used. Samples of material delivered to Project will be taken, identified, sealed, and certified in the presence of Contractor. The A/E or DFD reserves the right to test the work of any welder employed on the project, at the Contractor's expense.
