Renovation of a residential development in Logan Lake, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The work includes re-pipe of domestic water and fire protection lines and replacement of the existing plumbing fixtures and HVAC equipment located throughout the property. Brief Description of Work Plumbing fixtures, domestic water piping, domestic water heaters, furnaces, condensing units and MUA, and bathroom exhaust ventilation, abatement of asbestos containing material. Domestic Re-pipe and Fire Protection. All below grade pipes to be replaced with Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Schedule 80. All above grade pipes to be replaced with cross-linked polyethylene (PEX). Provide shut off valves for service water entering each cabin/building. Provide shut off valves for cold and hot water inside the cabin/building mechanical room. Below grade pipes with turns to be equipped with thrust blocks. Thrust blocks to be placed against undisturbed fully compacted earth. Provide a new connection when the well water enters the Building 7 basement. Connect the new pipe to a fire pump. New fire pump to be electric or diesel, capable to perform 250 gpm @ 270 ft head. Provide a firehose cabinet equipped with 2.5"" stand pipe and supply hose. Firehose cabinet to be supported by a concrete pad. Domestic hot water heater in Building #8 Existing circulation pumps in Building #1, #2, and #7 should be replaced Repair to duct for RTU Duct Leakage Test/Cleaning
