Notice of intent to award was issued to Recon Construction Services, Inc. in the amount of $689,246.25. Anticipated start date is April 15, 2022. Estimated Project Value ; $675,000 - $775,000 Upper Leacock Township will receive bids for the 2022 Roadway Projects: Contract No. 3 - Cold-In-Place Recycling. The Contract No. 3 work will include, but not necessarily be limited to, approximately 985 tons of leveling course, 1,970 tons of wearing course, and 20,910 SY cold-in-place recycled bituminous base course. A certified check or bid bond for the amount of ten percent of the total bid shall be required. Bonds are to be issued by a surety licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Only those questions submitted Electronically shall be considered. Questions received after 4:00 PM on Thursday, February 3, 2022 regarding the project will not be acknowledged. There will not be a pre-bid meeting for this project. This contract is subject to the following: the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act conditions (Contract No. 2 - Paving and Contract No. 3 - Cold-In-Place Recycling); the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSHA) conditions; the Pennsylvania Act 229 of 2002; the Pennsylvania One Call Act, also known as the Underground Utility Line Protection Law, Act 287 of 1974, as amended; the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act 222 Conditions; requirement of non-collusion affidavit; and the non-discrimination in Employment/Contract Compliance Regulations Conditions. Upper Leacock Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
