Site work for a civil project in Flowery Branch, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project consists of interim improvements at the Flowery Branch WRF to maximize capacity at the plant pending installation of a new facility. The project will consist of but not be limited to the following improvements: installation of new 16-inch pipe to connect existing inlet channel to filter segment, removal of plate between filter segment and chlorine contact tank, installation of new gravity flow pipe from Basin A to Basin C, installation of new RAS pump and piping, conversion of existing standby clarifier feed pump to transfer RAS to the filter segment, conversion of existing filter segment to additional aeration tank, installation of new piping in chlorine contact tank, installation of two rental aeration blowers with new piping and connections to existing air header, upsizing existing blower suction to 18-inches, upsizing section of aeration main to 12-inch piping, and installation of electrical feeds for the new RAS pump and rental blowers. The contactor shall rent and maintain two PD blowers for a total of 24 months after the interim improvements. All Bids must be in accordance with the Bidding Documents on file with the City of Flowery Branch, 5410 W. Pine Street, GA 30542 and at the office of Black & Veatch Corporation, 6 Concourse Parkway, Suite 1600, Atlanta, GA 30328.
