Site work for a water / sewer project in Brandon, Mississippi. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
For one or more engineering firms to provide all required engineering services related to evaluation, design and construction of the County storm water related plan using American Rescue Plan Act funds. Qualification packages will be time stamped upon receipt according to the County time clock. Proposals will be evaluated using the following selection criteria: (1) Familiarity with the Rankin County Storm Water Management Plan; (2) Firm experience; (3) Firm capacity for performance; (4) Firm history of performing services for Rankin County. All proposals will be rated on the following scale system to determine best qualified firms: Familiarity with Rankin County Storm Water Management Plan 40 points; Firm experience 15 points; Firm capacity for performance 15; Firm history of performing services for Rankin County 30 points. Total 100 points. Proposals will be reviewed by a selection committee using the selection criteria and scale scoring system. The best qualified firms will be identified and chosen by the Board of Supervisors. Resulting agreements between selected firms and the County will be based on negotiations to determine compensation that is fair and reasonable based on clear understandings of project scope, complexity, professional nature and estimated value of services rendered. Rankin County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
