Site work and renovation of a civil project in Marion, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Bids are invited upon the several items and quantities of work as follows: Water System Improvements: Rehabilitation of the Village's current potable water system replacing approximately 66 miles of water mains along with gate valves, flush hydrants, and appurtenant items of construction. Pump station rehab. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. The District must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin and that all Federal, State and Local provisions shall apply. Coal Valley Water Disctict reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any informalities in the procurement process. Bids may be held by the Coal Valley Water District for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to award of the Contract. The Work will be substantially completed within 300 day ; General Conditions within 360 days
