Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Champaign, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
Work shall include all mechanical work for the removal of the existing units and all controls associated with those units, all mechanical accessories, all electrical work and all general construction needed to install an air handler, compressor, heating coil, heating unit, electronic valves, thermostats, and thermostatic actuators. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any or all irregularities and select the bid that is in its best interest. All bidders shall comply with the provisions of the Affirmative Action Ordinance of the Champaign Park District, Federal, State, and local laws. All bidders are notified that the Park District will affirmatively assure that the contract will be awarded without discrimination on the grounds of race, color or national origin. All contracts for the construction of Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12).
