Water Works Park HVAC Improvements Questions Due Date: Feb 4th 2022, 12:00 PM EST The Water Works Park Water Treatment Plant("WWP-WTP") was constructed in the early 2000s. The WWP-WTP is a conventional water treatment plant with a design capacity of 240 million of gallons per day. The Project covers the removal and replacement of equipment at the WWP-WTP. The WWP-WTP shall remain operational for the duration of the Project, but a slight reduction in capacity shall be permitted. Close coordination between the contractor and the staff at WWP-WTP shall be required. The Project shall include the demolition of existing heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems with the replacement and addition of new HVAC systems at the GLWA WWP-WTP process building. The new HVAC systems shall consist of gas fired make up air units, exhaust fans, ductwork, natural gas piping, ventilation control panels, electrical power, and associated appurtenances. New electrical distribution panels shall be powered from the existing unit substations. Structural Work shall include the reinforcement of existing roof systems for the new HVAC equipment and roof penetrations. Penetration of the exterior and interior concrete masonry unit and precast walls shall also be included. Roofing Work shall include the patching of existing roof penetrations and addition of new penetrations.
