Renovation of an office development in West Burlington, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a office development.
The Iowa DOT is seeking competitive bids from qualified contractors to remove existing coiling gate and replace opening with storefront doors and glazing at the Iowa DOT Drivers License Station in Burlington, IA. Remove existing coil gate and dispose of off-site. Provide and install storefront doors in the newly created opening. Storefront to be black anodized aluminum Glazing to be tempered, 1/4", clear, float glass Work to be performed on any Monday, when the center is closed. Keep location secured during and after installation. Protect adjacent surfaces while work is being performed. It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule.
