The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the provision of the supply, delivery and application of single and double surface treatments on various roads within Bradford. The work shall consist of all material, labour and equipment required to pulverize the existing road surface, complete final grading and compaction of granular material, and for the supply, delivery and application of approximately 13,000 m2 of Double Surface Treatment and approximately 1,020 m2 of Single Surface Treatment, exclusive of intersections, on the roadways as noted below. The Contractor is responsible for inspecting and assessing all roads prior to submitting a bid for this contract. Bid price shall be inclusive of all necessary traffic control measures, including traffic convoy and pay duty officers where required. All transportation, travel time, mobilization and start-up costs shall be included in the bid price. No additional payments will be made for mobilization, start-up, and travel time to or from the site or for seasonal charges. Bid pricing shall be inclusive of all labour, equipment and materials necessary to complete the work as outlined below, including but not limited to: a) Hillsview Road - River Road to the end (approximately 3,900 sq.m) - Pulverize the existing road surface - Complete final grading and compaction of the road surface prior to surface treatment installation - Supply and install a double surface treatment to the road surface (approximately 3,900 m2) b) Fraser Street - Canal Road to Tornado Drive (approximately 9,100 sq.m) - Pulverize the existing road surface - Complete final grading and compaction of the road surface prior to surface treatment installation - Supply and install a double surface treatment to the road surface (approximately 9,100 m2) c) Line 10 - County Road 27 to 170 metres east (approximately 1,020 sq.m) - Prepare the existing surface treated road surface prior to treatment - Supply and install a single surface treatment to the existing road surface (approximately 1,020 m2 ) Documents can be obtained at: https://townofbwg.bidsandtenders.ca Question Deadline: Wed Jan 26, 2022 4:00:00 PM (EST) *Award is subject to final approval.
