Renovation of a municipal facility in Frankfort, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The project scope allows for the bidder to be a General Contractor, or by a trade contractor who will serve as a general contractor qualified to meet all of the conditions of this project manual, plans, and specifications. The project will be constructed under a single prime contract in a single sequenced phase. The project scope includes the selective demolition and the removal of defective impact resistant glazing for all existing exterior curtainwall frames and storefront door, and proper disposal of existing glazing. The project is located at the in-use Commonwealth Emergency Operation Center, it is imperative to minimize disruptions to the works in this essential-use facility at all times. The removal of glazing must be sequenced thus that it corresponds to the glass replacement that can be conducted on the same day. Estimated Length of Project: 180 (Substantial Completion) + 30 (Final Completion)
