Town of Clifton Park, through the Buildings & Grounds Department, seeks sealed bids from qualified entities for fence replacement located at the Clifton Common, Clifton Park, NY, 12065. Scope of work is as follows but not limited to: #1: Remove and dispose of offsite approximately 4,400 LF old 8-foot x 8-foot "stockade" type fencing and 5-inch x 5-inch posts around the boundary of the Clifton Common. Supply and install new 8-foot x 8-foot "stockade" type fencing and 5-inch x 5-inch posts, to match existing type, style and size with several gates and pass- through gates matching exact placement of all current gates. Please provide a cost for cedar and pressure treated on the bid sheet #2: Remove and dispose of offsite approximately 1,100 LF of 4-foot-high black chain-link fence around the soccer fields on the Clifton Common. Supply and install new 4-foot-high black chain link fence, with pass-through gates matching exact placement of existing. All posts shall be set with tamped crusher run. Contractor is responsible for contacting DSNY for underground utility locations. Contractor is responsible for applying for any permits required and scheduling all inspections required by code. Dispose of all waste properly. All work is to be done with public safety protocols, presented in writing to the town before work begins. The town requires proof of liability insurance with one million dollars naming the town as an additional insured, as well as appropriate workers compensation insurance and automobile insurance. Prevailing wage rate, as described by New York State must be paid. The Town of Clifton Park reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
