The Town desires to contract with a qualified and licensed contractor with proven experience installing benches and trash cans along public greenways. The Town has quoted a set of 9 trash cans, 9 recycling cans and 7 benches from Pilot Rock and is looking for a contractor to stockpile and install the amenities at select locations along Morrisville's greenway system once they are manufactured and delivered. Please carefully review the attached amenity specifications and greenway location maps to understand the scope and location of the proposed installations. The contractor is to provide all the expertise, equipment, labor, materials/supplies to meet the project scope. These specifications represent the general scope of the project but are not intended to be inclusive of all required work. It is anticipated that the following will be required: General: A. Coordinate with Pilot Rock to receive bench and trash can packages for stockpiling until time for installation. Pilot Rock is expecting a 2 month manufacturing period and a 2 week delivery of equipment. B. Work with Kyle Cooper - Parks Planner, to coordinate installation dates of equipment and logistics of installation via Teams meeting or email. C. Coordinate with Morrisville Public Works to ensure no conflict of schedule for mowing/maintenance along greenways D. Deliver bench and trash can materials to site. E. Assemble and install the benches and trash cans at predetermined locations in the field. F. Perform utility locate check to ensure no underlying utilities at proposed locations. G. Augur dig and pour powder mix concrete foundation to specified depths for bench and trash can poles. H. Remove and dispose of any surplus soils and construction materials. I. Backfill, compaction and seeding of any disturbed areas. J. Equipment and tools shall be removed and properly secured at the end of each work day. K. No debris shall be left on site. L. Contractor shall coordinate with Kyle Cooper to notify Town staff of any issues with installation promptly. M. All work shall be completed by May 30, 2022. A. The contractor's price proposal shall be submitted via electronic PDF on vendor stationery breaking down the costs for mobilization, stockpiling, and installation of the bench and trash can equipment. These costs shall be totaled and presented as a lump sum price for all work described herein. B. Contractor agrees that pricing shall be good for 90 days from the date of the submittal. C. Contractor shall provide an estimate of days needed to complete the project from the date of a notice to proceed once Pilot Rock is ready to ship the equipment. D.
