Site work for a water / sewer project in Greeley, Colorado. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Sanitary Sewer Masterplan has identified a need to divert flows from the existing 8" sewer main in 25th Street/Centerplace Drive and 38th Avenue. The area has seen significant growth of over the last 20-years and the downstream system was not sized sufficiently to convey the projected growth of the upstream development. The proposed project will divert flows from 25th Street to 38th Avenue to alleviate the capacity concerns in the downstream system. Requires new sewer main infrastructure to be installed in Centerplace Drive, which is a major access for the Centerplace Development and residences in the area. Coordination with the landowner will be required for alignments through the proposed property. This will likely require crossing large diameter storm infrastructure in the area, that may control line and grade of the proposed sewer main. As of September 26, 2024, this project is in design now. Construction should begin in the summer of 2025.
