The City of Jackson, Missouri will receive separate sealed bids for the I-55 Electrical Substation 34.5:13 kV substation power transformer. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any and all bids. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the bid opening. The City may issue addenda as may be necessary in the best interest of the public and the City of Jackson. If a contract award is made, it will be made to the lowest and best, responsive, responsible bidder. The City of Jackson hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
