The work to de done consists generally of: Furnishing of one 34.5:13 kV Power Transformer, one 34.5 kV Power Circuit Breaker, five 13 kV Power Circuit Breakers, and one Relay Control House. Submit hard copies in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the outside as following "Bid for I-55 Electrical Substation 34.5 kV Power Circuit Breaker; Attn: City Clerk". Each bid shall be delivered via hand-delivery or mail For technical questions regarding the project scope or downloading or submission of project documents, please contact Scott Burleson of Allen & Hoshall Engineers at sburleson@allenhoshall.com or (901) 261- 4639. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any and all bids. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the bid opening. The City may issue addenda as may be necessary in the best interest of the public and the City of Jackson. If a contract award is made, it will be made to the lowest and best, responsive, responsible bidder. The City of Jackson hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
