As of June 21, 2023, an engineer has been selected and this project is in the design phase. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City recently updated its sanitary sewer master plan (Greeley Sanitary Sewer Master Plan, CDM Smith, June 2021) which identified deficiencies in the existing system through extensive modeling and analysis of available flow data. The Master Plan outlined capital improvement projects within a 5-year, 20-year and buildout planning horizon, and provided recommendations to resolve each deficiency and accommodate future buildout flows. This Project will alleviate capacity issues in an existing 8-inch collection main within 47th Avenue, which is one of Greeleys busiest arterial thoroughfares, by constructing a new parallel main and diverting flows from the undersized 8-inch line.
