The Project has been awarded to Kilgore Companies LLC, dba LeGrand Johnson Construction with the awarded amount of $6,098,155.30.*** The City is preparing to construct improvements to the intersection of 1800 North and 550-600 West. The project will include widening at the intersection of 1800 North and 550/600 West to add turn lanes, traffic signals, improved pedestrian access and other improvements. Specific work elements include roadway pavement reconstruction and widening, curb, gutter and sidewalk, concrete driveways, concrete bus stop, pavement markings, traffic signs, and traffic signal system with railroad preemption. Other improvements include storm drain collection and transmission systems, detention pond with multiple structures, irrigation piping and structure modifications, and water line replacements. As an additive, a portion of the 42-inch diameter North Logan Sewer line will be installed (1800 North Sewer- Bid Schedule B). The project also includes replacement and widening of the railroad crossing and crossing signals by Union Pacific Railroad. A Bid Bond, or Cashier's Check for 5% of Bid, Payable to City of Logan, Must Accompany Each Bid, Along With a Proposed Schedule for Construction Completion. Upon Awarding of the Bid, a Payment Bond and a Performance Bond Will Be Required for 100% of Any Bid Which Exceeds $5,000.
