Renovation of a fire / police facility in Newnan, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

The contractor will supply and install a breathable three (3) part epoxy floor coating with a slip resistant aggregate finish on CCFD Stations 1&8 Apparatus Bay Floors. Contractor to verify all measurements and square footage for facilities. (See specifications herein) All proposed materials must be submitted with proposal for approval by Coweta County. The contractor will be responsible for the security of any materials and or equipment related to the bay floor coating for the duration of the project. The contractor will furnish all necessary labor, materials, equipment and supervision to complete project as proposed. Coweta County may negotiate changes with the successful bidder. An inability to comply with negotiated changes shall deem the bidder unsuccessful and shall void any contractual agreements reached. The contractor will furnish all materials, labor and equipment and supervision to install breathable three (3) part epoxy floor coating with a slip resistant aggregate finish with the following specifications Locations: Station 1 Station 8 483 Turkey Creek Rd 689 Dixon Rd Newnan, GA 30263 Newnan, GA 30263 Removal of existing floor coating. o Repair and patch all floors, joints and joint material to manufactures specifications o Grind floors per coating manufactures specifications. o Repair all cracks to coating manufactures specifications. o Install a continuous coping along all perimeter walls and continue floor finish 8" up all masonry and concrete walls Install epoxy primer per approved manufactures specifications. o Install epoxy coating per approved manufactures specifications. o Install top coating per approved manufactures specifications. o Minimum allowable thickness 23 mil. o The contractor is required to remove all debris off site Coweta County will require an Ultrasonic Coating Thickness Test with a "DeFelsko Positector 200 thickness gage" or equivalent to be performed by an independent contractor on all floors prior to payment. All test locations must be within 15% of specified thickness. Floors not within the specified thickness range will be required to be recoated based on the coating manufactures specifications at no additional cost to Coweta County. Floors must be tested at a minimum of five separate locations per 1000 sq. ft. o Contractor responsible to coordinate all third party inspection. o Coweta County will provide 110v electrical connection; the successful contractor will be responsible to provide power for any equipment exceeding 110v o Equivalent designs will be considered
