Renovation of a multi-residential development in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

Removal/replacement of existing roofing, underlayments, flashings, wood fascias, rakes, and soffits and replacement with new. The participation goals for this project shall be 15.3% for minorities and 6.9% for women. (1.) Base bid work includes the replacement of existing asphalt roof shingles, underlayments, copper step flashings, aluminum drip edges, rake boards, moldings and trims and installation of new vinyl soffits at buildings type B, #2 (#35-#40) and building type B, #8 (#5-#10). (2.) Careful removal of existing aluminum gutters and downspouts, temporarily storing on site and reinstalling in same location after roofing and trim work is complete. (3.) Removing all loose paint at existing wood soffits by scraping and sanding, cutting 4" continuous vent strip in soffit and cladding with new vinyl soffts as detailed. (4.) Replacement of damaged or deteriorated wood sheathing and trims (5.) All Work is either shown on the drawings or included in the specifications unless specifically indicated as not to be done. This project consists of (2) alternates. Refer to Section 01.23.00 "Alternates" for additional information and extended time ed periods. (6.) Work includes, but not limited to, removing and disposing of existing wood trims, asphalt shingle roofing, flashings and trims. Provide all necessary labor, materials and project superintendence and incidentals required to complete the full scope of the window replacement work.
