The San Diego County Regional Airport Authority (Authority) seeks statements of qualifications (SOQ) from firms or individuals to provide on-call public art handling, relocation, fabrication, and installation services primarily related to the Authority Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and Airport Development Program (ADP) on an as needed basis at San Diego International Airport. Services might include, but are not limited to: packing, crating, and storing of artwork; transportation of artwork; installation and deinstallation of artwork, including those of monumental scale; design, fabrication of custom attachments or structural support methods to facilitate artwork installation; permitting and consultation and cooperation with Authority, Design Builder team members, commissioned artists, and other stakeholders as designated by the Authority. Questions must be submitted via e-mail to the Procurement Department Representative, Mary Woitkoski at mwoitkos@san.org, by the question deadline. Questions must be submitted in writing, via email, no later than 2:00 p.m. on February 17, 2022. The President/CEO reserves the right to reject any and all SOQ; to waive any informalities or irregularities in any SOQ received; to waive any requirement of the RFQ documents as to the submitting procedure; to revise the RFQ prior to the time for final submission of written SOQs or to revise the RFQ documents at any time; to withdraw this RFQ at any time; to extend the time for submittal of SOQ; to conduct or not conduct interviews; to reschedule interviews scheduled; to recommend to the Board none, one or more than one Respondent for an award.
